e-Hijrah, taken from the Arabic word “Hijrah” meaning “moving forward”, is a disciplined effort designed to harness the Ministry of Education (MOE) and national resources for the effective use of ICT in education. e-Hijrah represents a coordinated, systemic and fully integrated national effort for ICT in education in Brunei Darussalam. e-Hijrah is designed to accelerate the development of a high performing 21st century education system.
